All Abut the Teacher Assistant

My name is Barbara Lindskog and I am the Teacher Assistant in classroom #3.  I was born and raised in California, near San Francisco.  I am married to my wonderful husband, Adam and we have two boys, Mark and Nathan.  Both of my boys attend school in Kannapolis City Schools.  We have lived in North Carolina for over 12 years.  We moved here when my husband was transferred from Tampa, Florida.

Education

In July of 2013 I earned my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Stanly Community College.  I hope to continue my education to earn my Bachelors Degree.  I enjoy helping the children to play and discover new things in and out of the classroom.  My favorite thing to hear a child say is “I did it!”

Educational Philosophy

I know as a teacher that every child learns in their own unique way.  I feel that it is important to help each child find their way of learning and to help them build the confidence they need to be life long learners.
